U.S. Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Irving, has launched an ad in the New York Post encouraging New York police officers to move to North Texas due to lack of support from radical-left politicians and budget cuts.
"If radical-left New York politicians won’t support the brave men and women in law enforcement , we encourage those officers to move to North Texas ," Van Duyne wrote.IRVING, Texas — U.S. Rep. In a statement, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the NYPD is composed of the best, brightest and strongest in the nation, who have driven down violent crimes since the start of his administration, with overall crime being down year to date.
