By comparison, Edmonton saw the monthly rent for an unfurnished apartment rise about two per cent to $1,170. A furnished apartment rent increased five per cent at the start of January, according to the study, to $1,485 a month. Alberta rents overall remain far below those in Canada’s largest centres, according to Liv.rent data.
