A Renton man has been sentenced to prison for leading what prosecutors called one of the most violent drug distribution cells in Washington, according to the Department of Justice.

Jose Daniel Espinoza, 35, was sentenced to ten years in prison for his role in a drug trafficking group that used guns and distributed fentanyl.

According to the Department of Justice, during the investigation, a person was shot outside a home where the conspirators were converting methamphetamine from liquid to crystal form.
