Reneé Rapp is the latest celebrity to call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, following an Oscars 2024 where some stars wore Artists4Ceasefire and Palestinian flag pins. At the GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday, March 14, Reneé Rapp accepted an award for outstanding music artist. During her speech, she called attention to the room full of “influential and privileged people” and how exciting it was for her. “It's a huge privilege to be a part of that,” she said.
