‘Remember Cyril the devil, on November 1’ Malema tells EFF supporters
Malema addressed thousands of the party’s supporters in Katlehong in Ekurhuleni on Friday. He told them that following the party’s successful campaign, the EFF was guaranteed a decisive victory in the elections.“I am really humbled by your hard work. You have done everything humanly possible to persuade our people to vote for the revolution and there is no single national leader of the EFF and all commissioners who have not worked hard,” he said, addressing the leaders of the party.
“I am encouraged by your courage; your fearlessness is exactly what grounds us. We as the leadership of the EFF are convinced that our message has been received well by the voters of South Africa and we are sure that the EFF will receive a decisive victory,” he said.Malema used the level 5 Covid-19 lockdown regulations to ridicule the ruling party and President Cyril Ramaphosa. He encouraged the party’s supporters to remember the lockdown regulations when voting on Monday.
He said people could also not watch football in stadiums because “the devil has decided to close stadiums and open the stadiums for political parties”.
