At just 22, kathrynnewton already has all the makings of a red-carpet beauty star. We talked to her hair and makeup artists to get the scoop.
Cheng is all about keeping Newton's makeup light and youthful, and has been primarily playing with shades of pink that bring out Newton's natural rosiness."I like using soft tones like peaches, mauves, roses, and pinks, and doing a light sweep over the eyes," Cheng says."I'm just keeping in mind that she's 22, so it’s nice to keep things nice and fresh. I love doing a monochromatic scheme across the features, from the eyes to the cheeks.
Cheng likes to use a single lipstick for the cheeks, eyes, and lips, tapping on the pigment with her finger or a brush to get a more diffused look.
