Leeds have announced a multi-year deal with the energy drink giants which shall see them also become the front of shirt sponsor from next season
Red Bull have ruled out the prospect of Formula One star Max Verstappen signing for Leeds United this summer.
A statement announcing the deal read: "Today Leeds United Football Club is proud to announce a new multi-year agreement with Red Bull, making them the club’s front-of-shirt partner starting next season. Today’s announcement that Red Bull will be joining forces with Leeds United reinforces the international popularity and significance of the club.
United chairman Paraag Marathe described the partnership as a 'historic milestone' for the club. Shortly after the announcement Red Bull Racing, firmly tongue-in-cheek, confirmed Verstappen would not be making a switch to Elland Road.
