Dozens of North Texas companies gathered Thursday seeking veteran workers.
Bobby Crutsinger and his wife, Peggy, acquire donated RVs, refurbish them, and work with social workers to identify homeless veterans to give the vehicles to once they meet certain criteria."We’ve seen over 400 candidates today looking for jobs," Carol Hymes said.
Eager is just one word to describe candidates."As we look at the veteran population for unemployment, as of today, we know it to be about 4.2% unemployment for veterans," Hymes said. "Definitely we want to give back in a different capacity assisting and helping them seek their dream job."
