These 15 bars, restaurants were Houston's top alcohol sellers in 2022
The Houston bar and restaurants scene continues to rebound, showing an upward trend since the pandemic disrupted it., but this year Houston's dining scene is back on track. Data from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts shows the top 15 Houston bars and restaurants that sold millions of dollars worth of alcohol in 2022, more than anywhere else in the city.
Editor's Note: These numbers do not include sales from alcohol wholesalers, such as liquor stores or large venues. Only bars and restaurants were included in this list. This information represents the most recently available data from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for alcohol sales from Jan. 1 until Dec. 9 2022. And, some of those listed have multiple locations.Dubbed La casa of the Balón, Ojos Locos has multiple locations across the Houston area.
