In Cape Breton, Port Hawkesbury defenceman Ryan Hayes was returned to his club last week after attending the Eagles’ training camp. Meanwhile, in Halifax, Hudson Clarke of Port Caledonia and Landon MacIntosh of Cheticamp were reassigned by the Mooseheads, while former Cape Breton West Islanders’ goaltender Adam Tkacz was also cut by the club. Brandon Abbass and Bryson Boudreau were also reassigned by the team.Other players with Cape Breton connections who were reassigned include Ray MacKinnon , Riley Sampson , and Leyton Stewart .
