King Charles reportedly did not reunite with his son Prince Harry during his whirlwind UK visit to avoid the “drama” the reunion would bring. Speculation about if, when and where Harry might reunite with his father mounted ahead of Harry’s UK trip this week, prompting a spokesperson for the prince to quash talk of a meeting with a statement confirming there would be no reunion, because the King was too busy.
King Charles snubs Prince Harry during UK visit. “It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” the spokesperson told The Mirror. “The Duke, of course, is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.” However, a new report claims the King’s hectic schedule was not the only reason for the distance. “He doesn’t need the drama in his life,” a palace source told Daily Mail.
