Police say the incident happened at Maywood Community School before 11 a.m. on Thursday (Nov. 10).
Mounties in Burnaby are seeking the public's help to identify a person of interest after a "suspicious" incident near a school.
In a release, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Kalanj said a man was reportedly seen pacing near Maywood Community School on Thursday before 11 a.m. before he allegedly exposed himself to nearby children. We want to make the public aware of this incident. We are also appealing for any information that may help us identify this person of interest, Kalanj explained. Kalanj added Burnaby RCMP has also increased its presence in the area.
Anyone with information on the person of interest in the photos is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999 and quote file number 22-37848.
