Claims had also been made via social media of a resurrection two weeks prior in the Emalahleni area of Mpumulanga. The pastor in that incident denied a resurrection ever took place. “The CRL Rights Commission did its own investigation into the ‘Commercialisation of Religion and Abuse of People’s Belief Systems’ and its findings and recommendations were very clear. We as religious leaders make use of them as the basis. Their findings embarrassed us, and the religious sector – particularly the Christian faith – has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
