SA Rugby director of rugby Rassie Erasmus doesn't expect World Rugby to throw the book at Jesse Kriel for his tackle on Scotland No 8 Jack Dempsey in Sunday's Rugby World Cup game in Marseille.
Erasmus cited the example of Finn Russell's tackle on Kurt-Lee Arendse as an example of something that needed to be looked at.
"When you get to go back a millisecond or a second or two, you'll see that he clearly tackled on the ball. We're very happy with how it was refereed. "I saw it from two screens away, so, it didn't click to me that it was a head-on-head collision," Townsend said.
