Rare Shelby Cobra CSX4000 Series Roadster Is A Shiny Example Of American Muscle | Carscoops carscoops
While the listing states that this is a 1965 model, it wasn’t actually built in 1965 and was instead brought to life in the 2000s when Shelby launched the CSX4000 series as a tribute to the original car. Only 40 examples of the Cobra CSX4000 series models were produced over the years and this example is number 29 and one of only five to feature a hand-crafted, polished aluminum body.
The exterior of the car truly is a sight to behold thanks to the glistening aluminum panels that highlight every crease and curve of the iconic design. Complementing the exterior finish are 15-inch Trigo wheels with vintage Goodyear Eagle Billboard racing tires. There is also a chrome roll hoop and side exiting exhausts.
