Raptors' Fred VanVleet is questionable for Sunday's game against the Pistons.
VanVleet, who has been sidelined since Feb. 9 with a partial ligament injury to his left thumb, was not expected to play again until late next week. However, his status has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons, suggesting he may be back in the lineup sooner rather than later.
In 51 games played this year, the 25-year-old is averaging career highs in both points and assists per game, with 10.5 and 4.6 respectively., who sprained his ankle in the fourth quarter of Monday’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, is also listed as questionable. Lowry did not participate in practice on Wednesday and did not play in Thursday’s victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Throughout his 56 appearances this year, Lowry’s averaging 14.8 points and a career-best 9.1 assists per game.as he serves the remainder of his suspension for an altercation involving Marquese Chriss against the Cavaliers.
