Michael Beale has already brought nine new faces in to Ibrox this summer - and more could be on the way.

Millwall manager Gary Rowett has addressed speculation linking Jake Cooper with a move to Rangers this summer - insisting he is hoping to see the defender pen a contract extension.

But speaking to South London Press, Rowett made it clear he hoped to extend the defenders stay at the London club. Asked about Cooper's links with Rangers, he said: “We want Coops to sign a new deal. It has been well-documented that he has got a year left and there has been quite a lot of speculation out there.

In terms of outgoings, Leeds have been urged to take the gamble on Glen Kamara by former Ibrox and Elland Road star Ross McCormack. He told The Daily Mail that the English Championship side would be landing the perfect player for their current system - who has been frozen out of the Gers first-team picture.

"Glen has played nearly every game for Finland since the last European Championships - he's got over 50 caps - and played regularly for Rangers in Europe, what he can pass on to young players like Gray is invaluable. He's more than good enough for the level."
