reported on Wednesday , that Lundstram is “almost certainly” going to be offered a new Rangers contract after establishing himself as a key player under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.When asked if Lundstram was deserving of a new deal, McLeish told“Yeah. He did start slowly and I actually thought that when he came in, having watched a few of his games at Sheffield United, that he was a real trojan“A workhorse. He was always up and down the line whenever he played for Sheffield United.
“You get someone on a free transfer and it’s fine, look at Lawrence. They come with bigger wages, of course, but when you don’t pay a transfer fee it is a good deal.”He made 48 appearances and scored four goals during his first season at Ibrox.
