Rangers rout gives Liverpool hope
They have dominated it to such an extent, that a clash between the two was always considered as an integral part of the title deciders. This year though, things are slightly different ahead of today’s game between the two at Anfield.
Liverpool scored seven goals against Scotland’s Glasgow Rangers. Six of these came in the second half. However, it was not only the goal tally that would have given the Liverpool faithful hope. It was the brilliant second-half performance that showed the class fans expect from Jürgen Klopp’s team. In nine games Haaland has scored an incredible 15 goals – five less than the entire Liverpool team scored in their eight games.
