The central defender spent his entire professional career in Scotland with Rangers, making more than 500 appearances between 1960 and 1972.An official club statement read:"Everyone associated with Rangers Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of former player, Ronnie McKinnon, at the age of 83."McKinnon, a Hall of Fame member, won two league titles, four Scottish Cups and three League Cups, while he was also capped 28 times by Scotland.
