Rangers fans have reacted angrily as the Scottish Premiership post-split fixtures have been announced.
Beginning later this month, the Gers have away trips to St Mirren, Celtic and Hearts, along with home clashes with Kilmarnock and Dundee. Celtic meanwhile are away to Dundee and Kilmarnock, and will face Hearts, Rangers and St Mirren at home between now and the end of the season. The Bhoys currently lead the way in the Scottish Premiership table, four points ahead of their Glasgow rivals. Hearts are in third, with Kilmarnock in fourth, St Mirren in fifth and Dundee in sixth.Philippe Clement’s side do, however, have a game in hand over the Bhoys, with their rescheduled meeting with Dundee taking place on Wednesday .
Many fans of the club have now taken to social media to express their anger at the post-split fixtures, not happy with the organisers of the schedule.believe Celtic are winning the league so it’s up to us to try and spoil their party on the 18th May. We need to win all our games imoNot really bothered but the guy is right the split doesn’t achieve fairness across the board. The whole league needs changed. 16 team league split after 30 games top 5 play another 8 fixtures as do the bottom 5.
