The Light Blues have faced criticism after a three-game winless run amid a title fight with Celtic.
Celtic hero John Hartson has questioned if Philippe Clement is "brave enough" to axe some of Rangers struggling stars.
Questions have been asked of the likes of captain James Tavernier as well as key men Connor Goldson and John Lundstram after the Light Blues couldn't find a way through a Dundee and take advantage of their game in hand over Celtic in the title race. Brendan Rodgers' men sit three points clear at the Scottish Premiership summit with a superior goal difference following defeat for Rangers at Ross County on Sunday and the Dens Park stalemate.
Responding to a furious caller on Go Radio who demanded that Lundstram, Goldson and Tavernier be pulled from the team for the Scottish Cup semi-final against Hearts, Hoops' hero Hartson asked: "Do you think he is brave enough? Do you think he will make these big calls? Fans are questioning Goldson's concentration and saying he is useless and Tavernier..."
Host Paul Cooney interrupted to question if the Belgian boss had enough options at his disposal. Hartson went on to remind Clement of a key mistake in the clash with Celtic. He said: "All I am saying is Tavernier got absolutely destroyed in the first half against Celtic. Maeda crucified him and he wasn't brave enough to take him off."
