Texas leads the series, 2-0, winning Sunday and Monday at Minute Maid Park in Houston. They never trailed in either one, continuing a streak in which they have either led or been tied in all but one inning of the seven games they have won. That occurred in Game 2 against the Orioles, when they gave up two runs in the bottom of the first and countered with five in the top of the second inning en route to an 11-8 win.
“Yeah, it’s definitely gonna be different all I can do is go out there and give my all, go out there and compete as, as long as I can, listen to my arm and that’s all I can do. Give everything I got for tomorrow,” Scherzer told reporters. “I have no experience of coming off an injury and trying to make a playoff start. So you know, it’s my best guess what I will be able to do but no one really knows.
