He's told an economic forum in Pretoria that a fund is being set up to help women with the necessary cash to scale up their businesses.
"The Automotive Industry Transformation Fund has committed to allocate 30 per cent of overall spend to advancing gender transformation in the industry." Ramaphosa has also lamented the fact that South Africa still has far fewer women entrepreneurs compared to other countries.He says he hopes the recently established African Continental Free Trade Area will allow more participation of women-owned businesses.
