SINGAPORE — Rainy days are expected to continue this month, with thundery showers expected in the afternoon on most days, even occasionally extending to the evening, in the first week of March.

Relatively drier conditions are forecast in the second week, with shorter duration thundery showers expected in the late afternoons over certain parts of Singapore on some days, the Meteorological Service Singapore said in a weather update.he daily temperature over the first two weeks of March is expected to range between 24°C and 33°C, but may reach 34°C on a few days.

This exceeded the previous record of 159.3mm on Feb 4, 1995, making it the wettest day recorded in February. In February, the daily maximum temperature was below 33°C on most days. The highest daily maximum temperature of 34.2°C was recorded in Ang Mo Kio on Feb 10, 2023, while the lowest daily minimum temperature of 21.3°C was recorded in Jurong on Feb 15, 2023.
