. It happened between Leicester and Kettering with EMR sharing news of the incident at around 10am on Saturday, September 24.have been disrupted on the Sheffield/Nottingham/London route. EMR said further details would follow the initial report. In a statement, EMR said: "We are sad to report that a person has been hit by a train. This has occurred between Leicester and Kettering disrupting our trains on the Sheffield/Nottingham/London route. Further information to follow."
Trains between Leicester and Kettering will divert via an alternative route. Services are unable to stop at Market Harborough - and there are delays of up to 45 minutes. The emergency services have been called to the scene.
