YouFM, a commercial radio station based in Rustenburg, North West, has released a Brenda Fassie-inspired Covid-19 coronavirus awareness song
Sung by the station’s presenters, among them professional musicians, the song raises awareness about the virus and what people should do during this pandemic.
Lending their voices on the track are presenter Bonolo BeeSting Molosiwa and member of Morafe hip hop group, Lerothodi Towdeemac Moagi. “We only later realised that this month marks 16 years since the legendary Brenda Fassie left us,” said YouFM sound designer, Moagi.
