Radio legend Doug Mulray has died
Mulray died in intensive care in a Sydney hospital on Thursday night after reportedly struggling with a chronic illness for several months.Doug Mulray was known to listeners as ‘Uncle Doug’The presenter was one of the pioneering voices of Australian radio in the 1980s - and best known for his time at Triple M, which he helped launch.
Mulray - known as "Uncle Doug" in Australia - rose to fame on the ABC's Double J in the late 1970s before joining Triple M in 1982.Read more world news
