Rachael Lillis, the original "Pokémon" English voice actor, died. She was 46 years old. Lillis passed away on Aug. 10 after battling breast cancer, according to Screen Rant. The New York native was the voice of Misty in the English-language version of the popular show, who traveled with Ash with a goal of being the world’s best Water-type Pokémon trainer. Lillis also voiced Jesse, a member of Team Rocket, the adversary in the show.
Taylor voiced Ash and his mother Delia in the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime for its first eight seasons.Lillis was best known for roles in "Pokémon," "Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back" and "Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King, IMDb noted. She also appeared in "Sonic X," "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn," and "Hunter x Hunter," Screen Rant noted.
