Disgraced singer R. Kelly denies releasing 'I Admit It' album from prison

that the singer’s team is not behind the release, and that he “is having intellectual property stolen from him.”Sony Music, which owns rights to a significant portion of Kelly’s music, also said that the release did not come from them. While Sony Music’s Legacy Recordings is named in the release credits, sources at Legacy told

that the company was not involved with the project and that they are investigating how the album was delivered to streamers including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. By 3 p.m. EST on Friday the album was taken down.
