A new organization hopes to bring visibility and access for LGBTQ+ people to the climbing and outdoors industry.

Caroline Thompson is part of the leadership team for QCC. After her first climbing session, she was hooked. Three days after her first climbing session, she bought a membership. Both Thompson and Schneider agreed that for the most part, they’ve both been met with a lot of support and encouragement from the climbing community.
Paige Swinehart-Hord, 24, is also part of QCC's leadership team. As an employee at 5.Life, she helped Schneider get QCC off the ground. She said she wanted to help create a group that would help make climbers feel safe and comfortable at gyms.
