began, Hilary Lewis, from Whiteabbey, County Antrim, had a lot of time to think.
"It just kept going through my head: 'Why me? Why am I sitting here?' It was unbelievable, I couldn't take it in. I just felt so privileged." Hilary travelled from Northern Ireland with her husband Gordon. She said the atmosphere at the funeral was "very reverent and very emotional". As the Queen's coffin was being brought into Westminster Abbey, thousands in Hyde Park, watching on big screens, fell silent.
