Queen's grandchildren to hold special vigil beside coffin from William to Wessex son, 14 TheQueen
Eight of the Queen’s grandchildren, including Prince William and Prince Harry will stand vigil beside her coffin in Westminster Hall for 15 minutes on Saturday night, royal sources have confirmed.
Prince William's wife Kate Middleton, 40, and Harry's wife Meghan Markle, 41, are not expected to attend. The grandchildren, at the King’s invitation, are said to be very keen to pay their respects to their grandmother, the Queen – just as their parents are doing tonight. Following its arrival back in London, the Queen's coffin was moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on Tuesday, as part of a procession which included the late Monarch's children, King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, along with her grandsons, Prince William, Prince Harry.
The decision to allow the Duke of Sussex to wear his uniform during the vigil at the Queen’s coffin was made by his father, King Charles III, royal sources have said
