BREAKING: King Charles is leading his siblings in tonight’s Vigil of the Princes ceremony in Westminster Hall.

They each stood for 15 minutes, each at a corner of the Queen’s coffin, as part of the poignant vigil.

As the ceremony was carried out, a steady stream of people are walking by in silence as they pass the late monarch’s casket. Other members of the royal family, including the Queen Consort, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and the Countess of Wessex, along with some of the Queen’s grandchildren, looked on.

After leaving Westminster Hall following the end of the vigil, they were given a round of applause by the public in the queue.earlier this week where the Queen’s children each took guard of the late royal for 10 minutes. In doing so, Princess Anne became the first ever woman to be part of the Vigil of the Princes ceremony.Members of the public filed past as the ceremony unfolded All four of the Queens’ children were dressed in uniform for tonight’s ceremony.
