WATCH LIVE: The Queen's coffin has arrived at its final resting place at King George VI Memorial Chapel
The queen's family, including her son King Charles III, accompanied the coffin from the medieval cathedral to a military procession that began carrying her to Windsor Castle as a vast crowd looked on from the side of London's streets.
A procession of decorated Canadians — including the holders of the Victoria Cross, George Cross and Orders of Chivalry — walked through the church on the way to their seats. Order of Canada holders actress Sandra Oh, Olympian Mark Tewksbury and performing artist Gregory Charles walked near the front of the procession.
The state funeral marked the culmination of 10 days of tributes and mourning following the queen's death on Sept. 8 at the age of 96. Some members of the public have been camping outside for days in hopes of getting a front-row seat to the funeral procession as the queen's coffin passed by.
