A Quebec woman said she was left “speechless” when York Regional Police called to say her stolen car was involved in a robbery in Vaughan Mills. Now she’s on the hook for towing, repairs, gas, and shipping the vehicle back to her hometown.
A Quebec woman said she was left “speechless” when York Regional Police called to say her stolen car was involved in aTaylor-Anna Kobinger said she listed her 2011 Audi A4 on Facebook Marketplace for $12,000 in late January to help with a down payment on a house.
“He almost crashed into a car,” Kobinger said, adding that at one point he was allegedly driving 60 kilometres per hour in a maximum 30 kilometres per hour zone. Now she tells the Star she’s on the hook for towing, repairs, gas, and shipping the vehicle back to her hometown, among others.
