Además es más delgado que los conectores USB-A, por lo que se adapta mejor a los nuevos dispositivos, cada vez más pequeños.Apple ha defendido durante mucho tiempo su conector Lightning patentado para los iPhone, a pesar de que prácticamente nadie más lo utilizaba.
“El USB-C se ha convertido en un estándar universalmente aceptado, así que estamos introduciendo el USB-C en el iPhone 15”, dijo Kaiann Drance, vicepresidenta de mercadotecnia de producto del iPhone.
