The league fined the Sydney-based franchise $500 for failure to follow the player safety measures, following an incident during the club’s game against the Saint John Sea Dogs on Nov. 5. Teams are required to send video to the league when a “Code 4” is called by an on-ice official – the incident in question from Nov. 5 was Cameron Henderson’s checking from behind major penalty.
The team forgot to provide the video to the director of player safety, leading to the fine, the league said.@CBPost_JeremyIt has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
