The Eagles will return to home ice on Friday and Saturday when they host the Charlottetown Islanders at 7 p.m. at Centre 200.

On Tuesday at TD Station in Saint John, Alex Drover fired home a hat trick to lead the Sea Dogs past his former team the Eagles, 5-2. Brady Burns and Charlie DesRoches also found the back of the net for the Sea Dogs. Cam Squires and Ivan Ivan replied with goals for the Eagles. Saint John's Ventsislav Shingarov made 36 saves. Cape Breton's Oliver Satny stopped 37 of 42 shots.

Cape Breton's Ivan will enter the game on a six-game point streak, which has seen the Czech Republic product notch four goals and 15 points over the span. He has 27 goals and 78 points in 56 games.Meanwhile, Giovanni Morneau leads the Islanders offensively with 18 goals and 46 points in 59 games, followed by Michael Horth with 25 goals and 40 points in 57 games, and Jérémie Biakabutuka with 16 goals and 39 points in 47 games.
