Knoxville Sheriff's Deputy Grayson Fritts referred to his knowledge of law enforcement while calling on police to round up members of the LGBT community.

A Knoxville sheriff's deputy is being looked into by the county's District Attorney after he delivered a series of hate-filled sermons calling for the government-sanctioned execution of the LGBT community.

Defending his previous statements, Fritts embarked on yet another rant Wednesday night during his regular weekly sermon at All Scripture Baptist Church, where he has been a pastor for two years. Knox County Sheriff's Office Detective and Baptist preacher Grayson Fritts has been a pastor with the All Scripture Baptist Church in Knoxville for two years."The Bible says the powers that be are ordained of God and God has instilled the power of civil government to send the police in 2019 out to these LGBT freaks and arrest them," Fritts said at the time.

Before launching his religion-inspired onslaught against the LGBT community, Fritts requested a voluntary workforce reduction buy out from the sheriff's office, Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler has said. The pastor will remain on paid sick leave until the effective date of the workforce reduction, July 19, the sheriff's office explained in a statement.
