JOHN'S, N.L. — The commission tasked with remapping the province's federal electoral boundaries is reminding residents about upcoming public hearings on a new federal electoral map for the province.
Every 10 years, the process is carried out to ensure natural population shifts are considered when setting district boundaries and population estimates. The first of 13 hearings will take place in Marystown on Aug. 15 and continue across the province until Sept. 16.
