It's the perfect place to watch the football, especially if you're a Burnley fan
Picture this: You're wearing your club colours in a packed pub with pint in hand, ready to cheer your team on, win or lose. That scene happens in thousands of pubs each week, but there's one Lancashire venue that officially does it better than anywhere else.
Dyche spent a decade as Clarets manager, winning them promotion to the Premier League during his spell and claiming a club-record seventh place in England's top flight in the 2017/18 season. He was sacked in spring 2022, but the pub decided to keep his name and picture on the sign as a way to honour his achievements and status as a Burnley legend.
The sentiment was echoed when landlady Justine Bedford was asked at the ceremony whether they were "hoping Sean would come back to Burnley if he is sacked by Everton" due to the Toffees' run of poor form. The Royal Dyche pub, was formerly known as The Princess Royal and is located on Yorkshire Street in Burnley. Sean, 52, left Turf Moor as the longest serving manager in the Premier League.
