A serving Co Fermanagh PSNI officer will face a trial for charges including sexual misconduct in a public office after entering a not guilty plea to the alleged offences on Tuesday.
Timothy Hampton, whose age was unspecified and whose address was given as Enniskillen PSNI station, pleaded not guilty to three charges at an arraignment hearing at Dungannon Crown Court. Mr Hampton spoke only to confirm his name and address and submit not guilty pleas to the three charges.He faces two charges of misconduct in a public office, including the sexual misconduct charge as well as failing to notify police of a false report by a member of the public, and encouraging a member of the public to make a false report to police.
