The parade takes off at 1pm this year

Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets of Belfast on Saturday for the annual Belfast Pride Parade.

Police have issued advice as there will be some traffic disruption in the city centre during this year's celebrations.A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "The main Pride parade will move off from the area of Custom House Square at around 1pm taking in the areas of High Street, Bridge Street, Waring Street, Donegal Street, Royal Avenue, Donegal Place, Donegal Square North, Chichester Street, Victoria Street and Anne Street.
