The mum says that she was shocked to find officers at her Belfast home following the claims
A North Belfast mum says that she was 'shocked and outraged' after police officers called at her home regarding claims her eight-year-old child "gave someone the finger".
She also claimed that she asked police to take action against someone who was "recording her child on her property without consent", but was told that this was not considered to be an offence. "The most recent incident that we had to deal with was on Tuesday, when officers arrived at my home looking to speak to my young son, saying that he had committed the offence of giving someone the finger. This really took me back because he is only eight years old and even if he did do this it is not even an offence.
