😥 With Paris Saint-Germain reportedly looking to fire head coach Christophe Galtier, the club's president has now spoken out regarding his under-pressure manager. SLInt MORE:
The burden of being Les Parisiens boss seemed to be getting the better of Galtier recently, with the French tactician seeing his side suffer three straight defeats in all competitions, the third of which was a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at home in the UEFA Champions League.
Galtier, however, appears to have put a stop to the club's wretched run of form by winning back-to-back league encounters, buying himself more time in the Parc des Princes hot seat. Following their latest win in Le Classique against bitter rivals Olympique Marseille on Sunday, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi insisted that Galtier has the full backing of the club's hierarchy despite shaky post-2022 FIFA World Cup displays."It was complicated after the World Cup for everyone. And especially for us because we had a lot of players involved in this competition.
While getting back to winning ways in the league was imperative, the 55-year-old Frenchman will be looking to turn around a 1-0 deficit against the Bavarians in the Champions League at the Allianz Arena next week.
