has now published an investigation featuring a number of serious allegations against Al-Khelaifi.

The report alleges that the PSG chief had a role in the imprisonment of a businessman named Tayeb B in 2020 because he had documents that would"compromise" Al-Khelaifi. Tayeb B was arrested in Doha on 13 January 2020, and was imprisoned for almost nine months, during which it was said he faced"intense psychological pressure"., the alleged documents contained information about"corrupt" actions that influenced the awarding of the World Cup to Qatar 12 years ago.

The man detained was released from prison in November 2020 after allegedly handing over a USB stick containing the documents to Qatari authorities, while it is further claimed an agreement was struck to make sure the information never makes its way into the public realm. One of Al-Khelaifi's relatives have since emphatically rejected the newspaper's claims, however, suggesting that Tayeb B is not to be trusted."He [Tayeb B] would have systematically sought to link his Qatari setbacks with Nasser," the relative is quoted as saying, per theto read and post comments.
