Imagine all of the Mother City's finest in the culinary biz all gathered together under one roof coupled with jaw-dropping views of our beloved Table Mountain. That's what's in store for Cape Town foodies pretty soon:
For those new to the Foodie world, the iconic Time Out Market picks out the city’s best chefs, bartenders and cultural goings-on and gathers them all under one roof. The result? An ultimate tasting experience of the very best stuff that the city has to offer.
The first Time Out Market was created in Lisbon in 2014. It has since grown into a global phenomenon, opening Time Out Markets in New York, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Montreal and Dubai. Along with a few more of the coolest cities in the world, Cape Town is up next.the new market is set to come to life in late 2023. It’ll be equipped with 14 kitchens, all run by different top Cape Town chefs, and four bars with drinks co-curated by the Mother City’s best bars.
And of course, in the spirit of ‘the more, the merrier’, there’ll be room for approximately 750 guests in total, including quayside tables with jaw-dropping views of our beloved Table Mountain.
