PlayStation 5 sets off the the clouds. The ability to stream digital PS5 games will be available this month in the UK but it won’t be free. PlayStation 5 is rolling out the option to play games on its consoles via cloud gaming, as streaming becomes mainstream on Sony’s console. The feature will become available in Japan on October 17, while Europe and North America are pencilled in for October 23 and October 30, respectively.
Which games are on the PS5 streaming service? Cloud streaming will be available for titles from most PlayStation platforms, including: PlayStation 1, 2, 3, and PlayStation Portable via the Classic Catalog. PlayStation 5 games are also available as Game Trials and supported digital titles from your library. Exactly which games will be compatible is not known yet, but by the looks of it there could be quite a few.
