Bowlers from all over the province will battle it out to be crowned champions in different disciplines during the Gauteng Open hosted in Randburg.
Gauteng Bowls expects around 3 000 participants at this year’s showpiece and have roped in Ekurhuleni Bowls to host some overflow matches. “With over 3 000 entries this year, the Gauteng Open is one of the biggest lawn bowls events on the calendar. The competition gets stronger and a quick glance at some of the entries shows that this year will have some of the fiercest competitors,” said Kritzinger.
The organisers have rebranded the tournament to reflect the game of lawn bowls and have added a new online flipbook, coffee table book and new fashion items for on and the greens.
